TENNIS ELBOW

How is your swing? Bad Mechanics?

Tennis players are prone to tendinitis. In tennis, poor muscle strength or bad body mechanics will transfer most of the shock from the impact of the racket to your wrists and elbows. Despite the weight of a tennis ball, the impact of the racket on the ball generates surprising force on the elbow and wrist joints.

A unnaturally tight grip can also irritate the problem, exaggerating the shock of the shot. The trauma created by the swing can inflame the tendons at the elbow (tendintis) and in severe cases cause scarring.
