The Heavyweight Champion
Just saying that Lamon is a boxer should be all the convincing anyone would need that he was an excellent candidate for Prolotherapy. Boxing is a violent sport that puts tremendous stress on the body. This was attested to by Lamon's first visit to Joint Rehabilitation in 2001.

Lamon told me that his knee caps felt loose and that his knees had been hurting him for over two years. He also had right shoulder pain and right pectoralis tenderness and lower back pain.

We put Prolotherapy right to work on him, first on the right pectoralis muscle on the lateral side that Lamon injured while
sparring. "I don’t think that I was warmed up quite as well as I should have," says Lamon, "(when I threw a punch) I just felt everything rip in my shoulder on the right side." We also injected Lamon's knees and back: The results?

"I was able to jab and get back in the ring within three weeks whereas, that is the type of injury that I think that would have put aside my career for at least three months. That was one of the best recoveries I ever had. But it was just not my shoulder, everything, like my knees, is 100% better. I mean, it really got better, you know, my back as well."

Even when winning, you can get hurt in boxing. Lamon suffered a wrist injury when hitting an opponent who was on the way down. "My left hand, the metacarpals, I had a guy that I hit his forehead with an upper cut as he was falling." Lamon's wrist was injected twice.

"You know me being an athlete, I associate with a ton of athletes and I always tell them about Prolotherapy. This is something that I wish more people knew about before they would go to a doctor, because the first thing the doctor wants to do is cut on you or he wants to give you some type of medicine. I can’t afford to sit around for six months waiting for something to heal. I need that right now, and the Prolotherapy is the 'right now' cure for me."

Lamon is also an actor, you may have seen Lamon in the Ben Affleck movie "Daredevil," and on TV in "Martin" and "Ally McBeal."
